2 years and 10 months. Thats the amount of time that passed between the first meeting I had with my editor Eva Prinz and the day I got a signed contract back from Abrams in the mail. What insued over that course of time included secrets and lies and sleepless nights and tears worthy of a daytime soap opera. And that was the easy part, now I have to put the damn thing together! Fortunately most of the labor is already done. The book will be all B&W images and include about 75 images of classic street portraits of Seattle youth taken in the year 1983 and about 75 images of late 80′s grunge bands including the patriot saint himself Kurt Cobain. Also I cannot forget to mention that Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth will be writing the accompanying essay and that without him this book would not of even happened.
