R.I.P Lux Interior-Garage Rock GOD

By michael lavine in Rock and Roll

One of my inspirational heros died today and its a terrible loss for us all. My heart is heavy and filled with sadness. Lux is a legend, and his band The Cramps had a huge impact on my life and deeply influenced my love of rock and roll.  Long LIve the KING!!!

Here is one of my favorite videos of the 90’s, shot by fellow photographer Rocky Schenck. (warning:The quality of this utube version is pretty bad)

It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives

    Hmm, very cognitive post.
Is this theme good unough for the Digg?

Huge loss! I had no idea he had heart problems… One of my old bands played a few shows with the Cramps back in 86, I will never forget what a great time we all had..

    RIP Lux…Me old mate.

I love this image. Would you mind if I use it in an image I’m creating? I’m doing a series of images based on dreams, and Poison Ivy figures in one of my recent dreams. Please let me know. (Click on the website link to see two of the images I’ve created to get an idea of how I would use the image.)

    Thanks,
